The Kershaw News-Era Wedding Information Congratulations on your marriage! The Kershaw News-Era has provided this wedding announcement form for your convenience in reporting the news of your happy event. It is important that you accurately relate the news of your wedding. If you are unsure about spellings, please consult a dictionary. We use this format to ensure that everyone is given fair and equal treatment in the reporting of weddings. Therefore, we cannot print information other than what is asked for here. If you list parties given in your honor, please do so briefly. We will print “Parties and Showers” given only if space is allowed. Any photograph – black and white, or color – is fine, as long as it is clear and sharp. However, we get best results from a 5x7 black and white glossy. Submit only one photograph. Our policy is not to credit the photographer in work of this sort. Identify yourself on the photograph with “Mrs.” followed by your husband’s full name, and your full maiden name written underneath. Write in light ink (not felt tip) so the photograph will not be damaged. Email photos in jpeg or pdf format to newsera@comporium.net. Submit this form, mail or bring your announcement to The Kershaw News-Era business office (103 South Hart Street, P.O. Box 398, Kershaw, SC 29067.) We cannot guarantee that your announcement will run on a particular day, but we will publish it as soon after receipt (or date of marriage) as possible. After the announcement has run, you may pick up your photo. We request that you pick up your photo within two weeks. We will mail it to you, if you wish, if you leave a stamped, addressed envelope when you bring in your announcement. Keep in mind the office is closed on Wednesdays.
